Zephyr

When one of my good friend’s had his first kid, I wanted to gift him something personal, to celebrate the occasion. Using the meaning behind his son’s name, Zephyr, as inspiration, I got to work on creating a gig poster inspired design.

“Zephyros (Ζεφυρος) is an ancient Greek word for “west wind” and, apropos, it’s also the name of the Greek god of the west wind.”

Given the definition, and the fact that my friend’s live near the Northern Beaches of Sydney, in a shack, I wanted this to have 70’s surf vibe.
