“Graphic design will save the world, right after Rock and Roll does.”

Secretly Swedish is the design moniker of Mark Gamble… me. For over 11 years, I’ve been working as a Graphic Designer, Art Director and Illustrator. I cut my teeth in London, earning my stripes in publishing, branding, retail marketing and experiential design. After 8 or so years of hard graft, I moved to Melbourne so I could get some sleep and work on my tan, as well as furthering my skills as a Web & UI Designer.

During my career, I’ve worked in some of the most respected advertising, marketing and digital agencies in the industry, working with a number of iconic, global brands. I’ve also had the pleasure of working for some smaller boutique studios, delivering projects for great clients you might not even have heard of.

Outside of those agency walls, I’ve always been heavily involved with the music industry, designing and illustrating for bands, record labels, promoters and DJs. If I could make a living from just working with bands, I’d do it in a heartbeat, as it’s the very reason I chose to become a graphic designer.

When I’m not designing, you’ll most likely find me eating gyoza, drinking great beer and listening to Punk Rock or Indie Pop – it depends what mood I’m in.

Whether you’re in need of a logo, full brand strategy, gig poster, stationery or packaging, drop me a line, and we can discuss how to get your project started.
